Saturday Reminders–3/12/16

Another week has gone by and I suddenly find myself with not a lot to do this weekend. The plan was to go up to New York with the family to help celebrate my wife’s aunt and uncle’s 50th wedding anniversary, but one of the boys has been running a fever all week and we thought it best that he and I stay home. My wife and other son will be leaving momentarily, however, leaving me alone with a sick child for two days.

Maybe that will enable me to get some writing done.

I only have one reminder for you all today, but it is a rather important one:

  1. Voting is still open for this month’s Monthly Wine Writing Challenge (#MWWC23). At this point, it is still a rather close race and it really is still up for grabs. I can safely say that any of the 18 entrants could still win! You can go over to the MWWC Blog to check out all the entries, or you can click HERE. As for voting, just click on the button below:

Have a great Saturday folks!

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  1. Sorry to hear about the sick kiddo. Hopefully he’ll sleep a lot and then you can write. 🙂
