Bringing the House Wine Home

My new article for the Fort Bend Focus came out yesterday. In it, I focus on the French concept of a “house wine” and suggest that we all should adopt the concept.

It’s a quick read, and I’d love it if you go check it out and let me know what you think! (Click on the image below and it will take you to the digital issue, my piece is on pages 34-5.)

About the drunken cyclist

I have been an occasional cycling tour guide in Europe for the past 20 years, visiting most of the wine regions of France. Through this "job" I developed a love for wine and the stories that often accompany the pulling of a cork. I live in Houston with my lovely wife and two wonderful sons.

  1. Nice! Lively read and accessible for everyone. Good picks, but no rosé? It’s still warm there in Texas isn’t it?
