Sebastian is our fourteen-year-old son and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
Me: “Who was the first person to step foot on the moon?”
Seba: “Ummmm, Neil Armstrong!”
Me: “Strong work.”
Seba: “I see what you did there.”
Me: “Who was the first person to fly across the Atlantic solo?”
Seba: “Columbus.”
Me: “You can’t be serious. The first person to fly across the Atlantic.”
Seba: “Oh, the brothers.”
Me: “Oh my god.”
Seba: “What? Amelia Earhart?”
Me: “Ugh. Charles Lindburgh.”
Seba: “How was I supposed to know that?”
Me: “Read a book.”
