It is only April, but it already seems as though I have traveled much more this year. Once again, I am out in California, this time with Sebastian for his Spring Break. As I have come to do when on the road, I revisit some of my favorite Sundays Are For Sebastian. This one comes from three years ago, almost to the day….
Sebastian is my five-year old and he says some of the funniest things–we have no idea where he gets his material since his mother and I are rather boring, serious people.
In the car the other day, Sebastian indicated that a boy at school was getting in trouble a lot. Tammy asked him if he ever got in trouble.
Sebastian: “Nope.”
Tammy: “Who else gets in trouble?”
Seba: “Nathan” (his brother).
Tammy: “Why does Nathan get in trouble?”
Seba: “He gets those ‘B’ and ‘D’ thingies at school.” (Nathan recently changed schools and his first two grades were not acceptable to his mother.)
Tammy: “Are you going to get in trouble like Nathan?”
Seba: “Nope!”
Tammy: “Why not?”
Seba: “Because I have one of these”
As Tammy turned to look, Sebastian extended his index finger and pointed repeatedly to his right temple.

He’s got the brains!! 🙂
