This morning I received an entry into Monthly Wine Writing Challenge #6, from none other than the über-talented and multi-faceted Julia Bailey!
By my count, that brings the total number of entries up to nine, with more than a week to go! I feel rather confident that we might break the record for total number of entries (15) since several incredible writers have not yet entered (Talk-a-Vino, Food and Wine Hedonist, The Winegetter, Armchairsommelier, My Custard Pie, and many more).
Remember, the theme this month is “Mystery” and all the rules for the challenge (and all the previous challenges and entries) can be found here:

Here are the entries thus far (they can also be found over at mwwcblog.wordpress.com). Please let me know if your entry is not included here and I will be sure to do so (and reblog it at mwwcblog):

What can I say? I am a sucker for a British accent (you do have a British accent, right?).

I have to admit that while I thought this is a great theme, it appears to be very difficult to find a good and original interpretation of it, especially considering the entries which are already made. No, I’m not giving up, but at the same time I’m not so sure about my entry…
